A pink lotus blossom rests on mirror-still water in quiet balance. Its calm suits bedrooms, bathrooms and waiting areas alike.

The open flower fills the centre of the composition, its soft pink petals layered in several rings around a glowing yellow crown of stamens. Fine droplets of water sit on the outer petals. The viewpoint sits almost at water level, so the bloom continues downward as a gentle reflection, while floating leaves and background dissolve into muted green and cool grey under soft, diffused light.

Above a bathtub, beside the bed or in a treatment room, the motif settles in without effort. Its delicate pink tones suit Scandinavian, Japandi and minimalist interiors in white, wood and sand, softening plain surfaces and lending the whole space a noticeably calmer rhythm.

A quiet moment of nature that gives the eye somewhere to rest.
